Many continue the conversation assuming that I believe in supernatural beings, like spirits in the rocks, air, rivers, etc. and deities; that the Earth, Moon, Sun, Stars, are beings that care about you; that I follow the Celtic ‘Wheel of the Year’; practice magic/majick; read tarot/divination cards; and perform ceremonies that involve enchanting a circle, the elements in specific directions, and going clockwise. Mistaken on all accounts…

As it is now that time of year, here are a couple of Bonding Ceremonies. One Public, and one Personal.

A previous post I did on the Cultural Quandary of the Earth’s Civil Calendar had explained how we ended up with the calendar we have and what quandaries arose from it. In this post I’ll go into a calendar I’ve developed that addresses the dilemmas that arise with the Gregorian Calendar. As a result we have a calendar that encourages more awareness of our surrounding environment, its wildlife, seasons, solar events, and stars; Represent the experiences of both hemispheres fairly, is universal and perpetual.

When I’ve analyzed my own experiences, I’ve found that they are seen the way they are because I’ve framed them that way in my mind. When I remove my preconceptions of what I’d like Nature to be, what I find is that Nature is indifferent and impersonal, and I like that.
